Swimsuit Cover-Up

FINALLY!!!!!  I have been meaning to make a post for a while, but I keep letting days slip by. Some of you may know that I am 21 weeks along with our 2nd child.  We are having a boy, and we are naming him Brantley! That is enough of an excuse for the lack of posts, right?

Well, we made our first beach trip of the season this week.  Sooooo, I wanted Madison to have a cute cover-up. I used an inexpensive towel and some ribbon I already had to make this.  It probably cost a total of $7 to make.  I really like the way it turned out.  The only thing left to do is have it monogrammed.

So glad to find your blog. Love the cover-up. Did you use a pattern? I think I could do it without, but just wondering. I saw another one recently w/ribbond straps

Hi! I made my own pattern. Plus, I used the hem that the towel already provided across the bottom of the cover up. I have seen the ones with the ribbon straps. They are adorable an probably a tad easier. I just thought
my two year old would get annoyed by the bows and I would be retying them constantly.
